No more monkeys jumping on the ....

Caleb and Sawyer were jumping on my bed while I was getting ready this morning and they threw all the pillows off the bed onto the ground in between the bed and the dresser (you see where this is going) so they thought it would be fun to then jump off the bed onto the pillows. Sawyer landed on the pillows but then kept going forward and smashed his head into the dressers handle. I took him to the ER and thankfully it wasn't to deep so he didn't get stitches, they just glued it together and it's suppose to flake off in 7 to 10 days. Although they told me when it starts to flake don't let him pull it off and don't get it wet in the bath. Umm he's 2 you think I'm going to be able to stop him from doing that, oh well. And don't think this will stop him from jumping on beds cause while in the hospital room waiting for the doctor Sawyer got up on the bed and started jumping, well he got half a jump in until I grabed him and made him sit down.

I am SO HAPPY you took pictures of the injury. When I was like... five/six/seven I busted my head on a shelf in the closet. It required 23 stitches by a plastic surgeon (those were the outside stitches... apparently there was an inner layer of dissolvable stitches as well).
Moral of the story: My mom NEVER took a picture of my injury and I'm DYING to know what it looked like.
Fortunately, Sawyer won't have that problem.

+10 points.

Hilarity points for him jumping on the bed at the hospital, too. HAHAHAAH! Well, at least he isn't developing fears, right?

gotta love the split heads! Zack is 2 1/2 and he got stitches the first time, shanan and his ER cousin/our neighbor super glued him the second time and i super glued him the third time.

i am in total agreement with "royal" on the picture thing. it seems kindof strange at the time, but those are the best pictures and they won't have to wonder what their scars are from!

glad he's ok!

woops, i meant EMT cousin, not ER, haha. (it is EMT, right? now i'm second guessing myself... well, he's a paramedic anyway.) he lives accross the street.

Trips to the ER are rights of passages for moms with little boys. I have a similar picture of Tanner in a papoose!
