Halloween 2011

>> Wednesday, January 11, 2012

We had a fun little Halloween here at our house and neighborhood. Earlier in the week we tried to carve pumpkins but for whatever reason (me being pregnant, unmotivated, tired, Ryan was gone) I didn't want to make a mess by myself with 3 kids and then clean that up. So we made a different kind of mess and I let the kids tape all sorts of different craft stuff on their pumpkins to make faces. They had fun and could do that all themselves (with a little help) and the mess was much easier for me to clean up, so I think it was a win, win.

Here's our Spiderman and Captain America

and our little China Doll (this was my Halloween costume when I was Hadley's age. It was actually some pjs that some friends of my parents brought back with them from China. I think?)

The Loot.
(Thankfully not all was consumed, but unfortunately it was mostly consumed by me :o(

Those are sow cut pumpkins...the food kind & the kid kind. The pic of H walking down the street is somehow reminiscent of E.T. .....maybe you captured th essence of it somehow with the lighting.

I love the pipe cleaner idea for the pumpkins! Looks like the kids had a great time! :)

I love that you used your old costume for Hadley. I did the same thing this year with Janie. I was so happy that my mom hung onto my old witch costume. So fun!

Buss says that with Jackson now retired and living here, they are making up for all those nights they spent apart.

If you happen to uncover totes that contain this embossing "Made with China" subsequently it not necessarily indicate it truly is. A lot of the Guru shoes usually are without a doubt manufactured in China and taiwan.

To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.
